The King of Cages

When you buy a used bike it’s always exciting to spend money that you have been saving on chic and useful accessories. Nothing enhances a, well let’s face it, not-so-new bike like some new bar tape, fresh tires, or our personal favorite, new bottle cages. We all know how necessary a big gulp of water is to get through our cycle.

We tend to pick the same type of bottle cages regardless of what bike we have. Whether we found a 2010 Cannondale Scalpel on Bicycle Blue Book, a 2008 Specialized Roubaix, or any other type of bike, we buy titanium King Cages. They are the perfect accessory to any bike.

King Bottle Cage

Handmade in a garage in Durango, CO USA out of tubular 3/2.5 Ti the King Cage may be our favorite cycling component of all time. Carbon cages are great for saving a gram or two, but when it comes to keeping a bottle tight, regardless of conditions, the King Cage is the ultimate choice.  Because of the high strength of titanium, the King Cage will not bend or break like steel, aluminum, or carbon. The King Cage tips the scale at a mere 28 grams and will not mare the bottle.
